The aggregate's own header explicitly licenses it under GPL version 3 or later.
The unmodified aggregate, full GPL-3 license text, upstream LICENSE.md, CREDITS,
README, NEWS, and upstream component licenses are supplied in korean-source/.
The aggregate combines material originally under CC BY 4.0, CC BY-SA 2.0 KR,
CC BY-SA 4.0, and the project's legacy tri-license. Upstream applies GPL-3 to
the combined dictionary. This distribution does not relabel it as MPL or as
CC BY alone. See korean-source/LICENSE.md for the actual upstream explanation.

Adaptations: retain Hangul-only literal source headwords; exclude upstream
forbidden spellings; normalize into explicitly documented two-set jamo units;
select 3-7-cell guesses; explicitly curate a smaller answer selection with
original spellings, editorial glosses and review status. No conjugations or
particles are generated. The source, transformation scripts and review
manifests accompany the derived files. Derived word data is GPL-3.0-or-later.

The unmodified small_ko.msgpack.gz corpus is CC BY-SA 4.0 data; wordfreq's
package code is Apache-2.0. Package METADATA and its complete credits and
references, package LICENSE notice, and the full CC BY-SA 4.0 text are retained
in korean-source/. Frequency evidence includes material from Wikipedia,
OpenSubtitles, Twitter and Reddit as documented in that metadata; retain the
complete upstream credits rather than treating this as an original corpus.
The exact-headword availability sidecar combines this evidence with the GPL
dictionary data and is supplied under GPL-3.0-or-later. Raw frequency data
keeps its CC BY-SA 4.0 attribution and license. No frequency threshold selected
the answers, and absence from this segmented corpus does not mean unfamiliarity.

Its original source, license, README and package metadata are retained under
.qa/language-expansion/korean-staging/qa/independent/ in the local project,
solely for the reproducible cross-check. The game does not
import it. The Wordward orthography helper is a separate implementation.

Native-speaker editorial review and real native/mobile IME testing are pending.
